Ms Andrea Sim BFoodSc Melbourne Business development and client management are the primary responsibilities of our Business Development Scientist, Andrea Sim. Andrea holds a degree in food science from The University of Melbourne and can offer some consultation in the general microbiology area. She has practical knowledge of the food industry from her involvement with CSIRO Food and Nutritional Sciences in Melbourne and employment in the QA area with the Malaysia Vegetable Oil Refinery in metropolitan Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This employment experience in QA has given Andrea much practical knowledge of quality management systems, which qualifies her well to advise on quality issues. Andrea is currently enrolled in a Master of Business at Monash University, and as such, provides in-house advice on sales, marketing and general business development. Her theoretical/academic food science degree and "hands-on" experience in industry is a valuable combination for her position at MPTM Microbiology. |
